ENERGA  is the largest private company of energy supply products and services and has developed significant cross-border activities in electricity trading. The company, having adopted a purely customer-oriented strategy provides power services as well as innovative and advanced energy products and services that address and meet the needs of business and residential customers.

The company was founded in May 2006 and is a subsidiary of ENERGA which has 100% of its shares since January 2011.

The company has won a large market share in the Greek energy market, as more than 85.000 customers trust ENERGA with respect to their power supply. It is yet the first private company to provide electricity to business customers of low and medium voltage since 2008. Now the company provides services and programs targeted at residential customers, providing to the majority of consumers in Greece the opportunity to choose their power supplier. At the same time, the company is investing in projects aimed at increasing the energy production from Renewable Sources and adopt practices that enhance energy saving. More specifically, ENERGA has penetrated the market of Photovoltaic Systems, providing integrated design, construction and installation of photovoltaic systems with high quality. The company undertakes all the necessary actions for the whole procedure, from the stage of evaluation and the preliminary design to the final installation.

In December 2011 ENERGA Group splited off the electricity retail section of ENERGA POWER TRADING SA, which was absorbed by the ENERGA Electricity Retail SA. Then ENERGA Group proceeded with the sale of shares of ENERGA Electricity Retail SA to the russian-arabic Fund named WORLDWIDE ENERGY LIMITED. Through this agreement the Fund acquires 100% of the company’s shares as well as the full control of it.
